On June 4, 2022, a local women’s empowerment group gathered at the city park to celebrate International Women’s Day. The event featured speeches, performances, and a panel discussion on women’s rights and leadership roles in society. Attendees were seen holding banners and posters that read ‘Equality for All’ and ‘Empower Women, Empower the World’.
