Local women’s rights advocate, Meera Sharma, led a workshop today to educate women in the rural areas of Maharashtra about their legal rights and how to seek help in cases of domestic violence. The event, which was held at the community center in the village of Bhivpuri, saw over 50 women actively participating and engaging in discussions. Sharma emphasized the importance of awareness and community support in combating gender-based violence and encouraged attendees to share the knowledge gained with others in their community.
